Dr. Karen Groth, a Professor of Psychology at Macomb Community College, is hosting a critical discussion on supporting the mental health of law enforcement officers. In addition, the event will explore strategies to reduce suicide and improve crisis response in our community. The event will feature a talk by our Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. Agnes Ward, who will present about Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training alongside James Friedman, CIT Macomb Coordinator. This session will emphasize how we equip law enforcement officers with essential knowledge for navigating mental health crises.
