Macomb County to Host Fourth Annual Health and Wellness Fair this September:

Promoting whole-person wellness for residents of all ages

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (August 12, 2026) – Macomb County will welcome residents, families, and community partners to the Fourth Annual Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Macomb Intermediate School District (MISD) (44001 Garfield Rd., Clinton Township, MI 48038).

Nearly 60 organizations from across the county will participate, offering resources and hands-on experiences to improve both physical and mental well-being.

Attendees can enjoy a wide variety of free activities and services, including health screenings, wellness resources, food, and family-friendly entertainment. Opening remarks will be delivered by Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel, Macomb County Community Mental Health (MCCMH) CEO Traci Smith, and MISD Superintendent Mike DeVault.

“The Health and Wellness Fair is about connecting people to services and support throughout our community,” said Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel. “Working alongside MCCMH, MISD and our community partners, we’re bringing together trusted organizations, valuable resources and caring professionals to help support mental and physical health and build a stronger and healthier community.”

The Health and Wellness Fair offers opportunities designed to engage attendees in interactive ways, including:

• Heart health classes at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. presented by the Macomb County Health Department
• Meditation sessions led by the Buddhist Meditation Center
• Expressive art station from KnowResolve
• Face painting with Clownin Around
• Therapy dogs from Go Team Therapy Dogs
• Vibroaccoustic Harp Therapy courtesy of A Touch of My Harp
• Complimentary 15-minute messages from Irene’s Massage School
• Finger food provided by Dominic’s Catering

All attendees will also receive a Wellness Resource Guide to help them stay connected to services and supports long after the event.
