Macomb County Community Mental Health Announces New Communications Manager:

B Wyne takes on a leadership role after serving two years at the organization  

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (August 17, 2026) – Macomb County Community Mental Health (MCCMH) announced today the promotion of B Wyne to Communications Manager.  

“During their time at MCCMH, Wyne has shown a real passion for mental health advocacy,” said Traci Smith, CEO of MCCMH. “Their expertise has allowed us to advance our efforts in raising awareness of our services in the community and reaching those in need. I am excited to see what they achieve in this new role.” 

Previously, Wyne served as MCCMH’s Communications Coordinator, leading internal and external communications to ensure all messages were consistent, clear, and timely. Wyne played a key role in creating and distributing content across various channels, managing MCCMH’s promotional materials, and expanding outreach initiatives to promote services within Macomb County. As Communications Manager, Wyne will oversee the communications strategy to further enhance visibility of MCCCMH’s services and resources in the community. 

“I am so grateful for the opportunity to use my professional skills to improve community well-being,” said Wyne. “Mental health support is needed now more than ever, and by promoting MCCMH’s brand, mission, and services, we ensure that no one has to face their struggles alone.” 

Wyne worked at the organization for two years, gaining extensive knowledge about public behavioral health services, which has prepared them well for their new role. Wyne began their career at MCCMH in 2024 as a Communications Specialist. Previously, Wyne served as an Assistant Account Executive at Identity, a public relations agency, supporting integrated communications for clients in the hospitality, government, and commercial real estate sectors. Wyne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations with minors in Sociology and Women & Gender Studies from Michigan State University.
