Outpatient Treatment for substance use may include traditional counseling for the individual, and family and group therapy in an office setting. Other activities may be included depending on individual treatment needs.
Intensive Outpatient (IOP) is a service that provides more frequent and longer counseling sessions each week and may include day or evening programs.
Self Help and Support Groups: Individuals involved in substance use treatment are often encouraged to participate in self-help groups such as AA, NA, and others.
