CARE (Community Assessment, Referral, and Education) is the contracted access, assessment, and referral provider for publicly-funded substance use treatment services in Macomb County. If you or someone you care about is looking for substance abuse treatment services, call CARE to start the process. Like the Access Center for mental health and developmental disability services, CARE will provide screening over the phone to determine your eligibility for substance use treatment services. Call CARE at 586-541-2273 to learn about your eligibility for substance use treatment services. CARE also provides other resources, like parenting classes and anger management classes, student and employer resources and other tools to help manage a variety of life situations that may or may not be related to substance use disorders.
You may call CARE “Collect,” or, if you prefer, we will call you back at any number you give us. This office is also equipped with telephone interpreter services for those who best use a language other than English.
